Saturday May 2 is Free Comic Book Day, stop in and get your free special edition comic. You can also pick one up at the main branch of the Clark County Public Library. Look for our table there from Noon until 4pm. After we wrap up Free Comic Book Day we'll fire up the 360 for our Guitar Hero Battle of the Bands! The event will last from 8pm til Midnight. Cash and Prizes will be awarded to the top 3 bands. Register your band now!! $10 per band, bands must have four members. There's only room for 10 bands so sign up soon!

• A name for your band.

• A jacket and a lawn chair.(There's only room for about 20 people in the shop at a time.)

• Marvel Zombies 4- I so have to go back and read the earlier series, this stuff is great. A excellent blend of humor and good old fashioned zomie stompin' fun. Fans of Deadpool and Midnight Sons should check this one out.
• Warlord- DC brought back a classic and I was happy to see them pick up where they left off rather than try to start over with a new origin etc. I read Warlord when I was a kid and reading this really took me back. The first issue is mainly character introduction but I'm quite looking forward to seeing where Mike Grell is gonna go with it.
• Wolverine: Weapon X- Psh what else is there to say.(Did I mention that we have the complete original Frank Miller Wolverine Mini-Series. In MINT condition!)
• Agents of Atlas- Still likin' this one a lot. I'm kinda curious where the Dark Reign is gonna take it.

On Friday May 1 local artist Jesse Mounts will be at the shop selling and signing his limited edition Wolverine prints in honor of the new Wolverine: Origins movie. This print is awesome and supplies are limited.
