Chad Lambert's appearance grows nearer and the excitement builds. We're almost completely sold out of Chad's book here at the shop. We have only ONE copy left of Return to Point Pleasant. Don't worry though, Chad should have plenty of books with him at the signing and I'll do what I can to try to get more before then, if possible.

I read Return to Point Pleasant and the Bloodrayne: Prime Cuts books and I loved them. The creepiest thing about Point Pleasant is that these stories are based on actual events. Unfotunately, we sold out of Kill the Revisionist before I could get ahold of it. Bill (G-man) read it though, and said it's the BEST original stand alone graphic novel he's read in his ENTIRE life!(And he's read quite a few.)

Chad will be here from Noon until 4pm on Saturday June 13th. Help us welcome him to "The 'Field" in style!

I know, I know, I'm slow in updating the news again and I apologize. There's just so much fun stuff that needs to be done.

We need game systems, we are currently sold out of systems again. So if you're ready to upgrade and want some cash toward that new system, bring it to us. Unless it's a busted up piece of junk, of course, in which case, please take it to our competitors.

In other news, I've finally picked up a pen again and I'm inking a piece of work for a very talented local artist named Gary Church, it's Bushi-Bo a character created by another local artist, Tim Hagans. We have prints available at the shop of some of Tim's work as well. I'll show you all the finished product here when I'm done.

There are other creative surprises in the works as well that I will fill you in on as the plans become more solid.

Ok so in this weeks shipment we got the new Batman and Robin series which was, really great, had to mention that, but, Irredeemable #3 came in as well, which is OMFG, for real. It's gone straight to the top of my most anticipated monthly books list. It sells out every time, so I've begun ordering extras for next month. Get it while you can.
