We'll be playing the new GH release on Saturday from 9pm-midnight. Those under 18 must have parents permission to attend.

I'm running behind on the updates so lets start with last weeks coolest shirt...

This weeks coolest shirt...

The Silver and Bronze Ages have arrived at Main Street with the acquisitions of both a 400 book Silver Age collection and a 3000 book Silver Age and Bronze Age collection. These are far more books than we can put out on the floor. We have a small amount out in the back issue boxes the bulk of the collections can be viewed by appointment either before or after business for the day.

Grading and pricing these books will take some time, so more will become available each week.

NEW BUSINESS HOURS!!

Well I've done it. I've left Cassano's and will be working the shop full time. As a result we will have new business hours when we re-open for business on Tuesday March 31. This will also be the last week that Main Street is only open for 6 days.

New Hours are...
Noon-8 Monday
Noon-9 Tuesday-Saturday
1pm-6 Sunday

I put the Watchmen graphic novel on hold @ issue 10 until I see the end of the movie. YES, that's right the comic shop guy fell asleep and missed the end of the movie. In my defense I went to the midnight show after working all day from 10 in the morning. I still loved every minute of the movie that I saw and I'm loving the book as much or more because of it. I DO want to thank the guy behind me that tried to help me stay awake by kicking my seat when I started to nod.(Thanks dude!) The reason for telling you that is because, while the Watchmen are on hold, I started reading the Trades for "American Virgin" and "Ex Machina", starting at volume 1 on each. Both were great reads I can't believe how far comics have come while I've been away. Next on my list are "Y the Last Man" and "Fables". I've also heard very good things about "Walking Dead" and "100 Bullets". I look forward to checking those out as well once we get them back in.
